Gram and Lilly were driving to Gram's house. Lilly has given up everything to follow Gram. She was heartbroken. Gram watched it and tried to console Lilly by assigning her to find ten beautiful things before they returned home. Despite her reservations, Lilly discovered a few lovely things, which Gram topped up. But until they got home, they could only find nine things.
We picked this book for its title. The book beautifully captures the emotions of a young girl and a wise grandmother through its captivating illustrations. The story progresses from sadness to reconciliation and bonding. But small children may need help in understanding the storyline.
