I Love You More Than Cereal

A kinder me!

Little Maeva could not stop gushing about the new cycle that mom and dad gifted her. She wanted to make the kids at the park jealous. But, as she wants to be mean to the kids in revenge for their past week’s behavior, dad stops her. Instead, he talked to her about what loving something or someone was all about. He also told her kindness and love can change everything. But did Maeva understand and change her attitude?

We picked this book for its title. The story talks about how a little girl seeks to revenge while her dad prompts her to be forgiving and kind. The story is relatable. Children will want to be more compassionate after reading it. The illustrations work well for the storyline.

I Love You More Than Cereal by Justin Black, Alexis Black, and Maeva Black is a brightly illustrated, inspirational story about the much-needed idea of nurturing unconditional love through a coherent narration for young children.
