Mom, Am I a Clam?

Discovering you!

Look-Look, a young clam, stood out from the other clams in his society. Look-Look felt self-conscious about his appearance, but his mother continuously reminded him he was just as unique as everyone else. On the other hand, his fellow clams were not ready to be his friends. So, one day, Look-Look explored the sea bed, searching for new buddies. He met Algy and befriended her. The next day, he encountered and welcomed seahorses. However, everything changed on one bright moon day!

We picked this book for its blurb. The story revolves around a clam who stands out from the crowd. While the clam is concerned with his appearance, he makes new friends, participates in community activities, and is kind to others. Finally, as his mother assures him, the clam discovers his genuine nature and is cherished by everyone around him. Along with the message of perseverance, the story can teach children about sea creatures.
