Beware, we’re still there.
The book starts with a Dodo telling us a big secret that they still exist somewhere amongst us but disguised. But that’s not all. Even mammoths, saber-toothed tigers, and many more are still hiding somewhere. For example, did you know there is a velociraptor surgeon out there? Oops, that’s scary.
We read this book since we knew the author from The Vanishing Lake. Extinct animals still live amongst us - the idea is crazy and lovable. Our favorite is the saber-toothed tiger. He is grumpy, but he will make you smile at once. The illustrations are adorable.
A must-read for all ages. It’s hilarious, silly, and will surely make your day.
