Four goofy friends are out in the woods. They notice a bird, and they want to have it. The tinier had an idea, but the other three ignored him and moved ahead to catch the bird with a net. In all their attempts, they miserably fail at catching the bird. But the tiniest of them get that bird's attention, and a flock of them with a few crumbs of bread. But did they get the bird?
We picked this book for its title. The story follows four friends and their ridiculous antics while attempting to catch a bird. The repetitive phrases in the story can bring joy to children, who can swiftly guess what happens next after each bird-catching attempt, making it an immersive bedtime read for babies. Illustrations are engaging and visually striking, adding to the storyline. We adore Chris Haughton's books because of their humorous plots, uncomplicated language, and polished and striking artwork; this book is no exception. Don't forget to check out our review on Oh No, George! - another masterpiece by Chris.
