The Christmas Camel

Oh! Oh! Help!

Christmas was approaching, and Santa was in serious difficulty. He might not be able to deliver the Christmas presents. All but two of his reindeer had become ill. He will most likely disappoint everyone on the planet. He sent a distress signal to the animal kingdom. None of the animals thought they could help Santa except for a camel. Did the camel save him from trouble?

We picked this book for its cover. Christmas stories are always entertaining, and this book is no exception. The curious adventure and rewarding ending may appeal to children. The illustrations depict the story's emotions and concepts well.

Susan Permut's The Christmas Camel, illustrated by Zoe Saunders, is a beautiful Christmas fable that encapsulates the idea of being in charge of a situation and supporting someone in need.
