Where is the hat?

A brother, sister and their father were preparing to leave home for shopping when Dad realized his hat was missing. He decided to buy one for himself while they were out. Their first stop was a greengrocer, where Dad got a little creative and tried on some bananas as a hat. However, bananas were not a suitable option. Undeterred, Dad moved on to trying an Octopus as a hat. But what happened next? Would Dad finally find a hat for himself?



We picked this book for its title. The story follows a family that is having fun while doing their shopping. It may appeal to young children, as they can take part in the story process of identifying an actual hat. The illustrations are colorful and simple, which supports the storyline.
