To the moon and back!
A tiny squirrel resolves to travel to the moon seeks his mother's approval, and sets out on his adventure. His mother requests that he return the moonbeam. The little squirrel runs far and wide across the woods until he reaches the largest pine tree. He gets to the top of the tree, but does he venture to the moon?
We picked this book for its cover. The plot revolves around a young squirrel's desire to reach the moon (literally!). Though he does not realize his goal, he strives and is still loved and appreciated by his family. For very young children, the narrative telling is complicated. The colorful artwork beautifully depicts a night in the woods and enriches the storyline.
